Privacy Policy

This website uses analytics and comments. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

What We Collect

We collect anonymous usage data including page views, referrers, device types, and browser information. No personally identifiable information (PII) such as names, emails, or IP addresses is collected or stored in an identifiable manner.

How We Track

We use Rybbit, a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics platform. Users are identified by an anonymized hash of their user agent and request metadata, not by cookies. No tracking cookies are set on your device.

Where Data Is Stored

All analytics data is stored on our own virtual private server (VPS) hosted on third-party cloud infrastructure. We are the sole data controller. No data is shared with external analytics services.

Your Rights

You can opt out of analytics anytime via your browser's Do Not Track settings or by using privacy-focused extensions. We respect user privacy and do not track opted-out users.

Data Retention

Analytics data is retained for a limited period of up to 12 months. Old data is automatically deleted according to our retention policy.

Comments

Comments are powered by Remark42, a self-hosted comment engine running on the same VPS. When you post a comment, your display name, avatar (if using OAuth), and IP address are stored alongside the comment text. Authentication is handled via GitHub OAuth or email. No data is shared with third-party platforms. You can request deletion of your comments anytime via the methods listed on the about page.
